My pots are handbuilt using the pinching method of shaping clay. It is an instinctive way of handling the clay and is
probablt the earliest method used by humans. This method is contemplative; many hours spent modelling and refining the pots
are reflected in their organic forms.
The burnished pots are dried slowly then biscuit-fired in an electric kiln to 1180c. Six layers of glaze are applied
by brush and fired a second time to 1000c.
After glaze firing, 18 carat gold is applied and the third firing is at 800c
